Seahorse nippers

Our Program

Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club is very proud to be celebrating the 10 year anniversary for our Seahorse Nippers program this season. This is a program for children with disabilities who would otherwise be unable to participate in a regular nipper program.

On selected Saturdays, 20 to 25 special nippers will take to the sand and experience flag races, swimming, surfing and kayaking in a happy and safe red and yellow environment.

Seahorse nippers is an inclusive program for children and young people with physical and mental challenges. Your child can learn about the beach while socializing and gaining confidence in the water. Seahorse nippers runs over 3 – 4 Saturday’s twice a year. Usually run just before September and April school holidays.

As a Club, the Noosa Heads SLSC Board are committed to the continuation of Seahorse Nippers.  Keep up to date on program dates via the Seahorse Nippers Facebook page.
