The Noosa Surf Club has a long history in lifesaving and community service in Noosa. Lifesavers patrol Noosa beach on weekends and public holidays from the start of the September school holidays until the May Day longweekend each season. The Club has also been awarded Australian Surf Life Saving Club of the Year, QLD Surf Life Saving Club of the Year and Youth Development Club of the Year for 2012 – 2013.
Voted Queensland’s Best Surf Life Saving Supporters Club in 2012 & 2013, it is also considered the best live music venue in Noosa. The Surf Club offers live music three nights a week, Friday Night, Saturday Night and Sunday evening with Special Events also on some Wednesday and Thursday nights. The Noosa Surf Club show cases the best local Sunshine Coast music.
The Sunshine Coast and especially Noosa is famous for it’s fantastic Restaurants and Cafes. Hastings Street is world renowned for its cosmopolitan cafe culture, fresh and varied produce, the quality and variety of it’s restaurants and eateries.
Children from 5 years old (at 30th September) up to 13 years old can join Noosa Nippers.
Nippers This Year will start date to be confirmed. Noosa Nippers is held on Sunday mornings from September to March each year.
Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club provides a huge range of opportunities for members to get involved in surf sports. Members of all ages are encouraged to join in.
Events range from flags and sprints, through to board, ski and surf boat races. There are also competitions in first aid, patrol team work and Life Saving skills.
