Become a Nipper
Children from 5 years old (at 30th September) up to 13 years old can join Noosa Nippers.
Both parents/guardians are also required to join

Please Note : NO swim testing for Nippers (except U14's) will be undertaken at the club swim nights.
Nippers Membership Pack 2011/12
One for each nipper. You will need to show a birth certificate for your child/ren and also produce a signed pool swim form to have your application accepted.
One for each nipper. The pool swim must be assessed and the form signed by a qualified swim coach. Please note that all nippers are required to complete a pool swim before they can participate in any nipper activities.
Parent/Guardian Membership Pack and Medical Authorisation Form
One for each parent/guardian. New parents most frequently join as Associate members but many decide to gain awards so they can participate in patrols or help with water activities during nipper training. If you are keen to get more involved please ask at sign-on for details of how you can help. Please note that all adults 18 years and over are required to hold a blue card.
One for each adult 18 years or older. All lifesaving club members 18 years or over are required to hold a Blue Card. This is proof that you have been screened for suitability for working with children. The card is issued by the Commission for Children and young People and Child Guardian and is essential for anyone involved in nipper activities.
Please ensure you have formal identification with you such as a driver's license, passport or birth certificate and a credit/debit card or Medicare card for this application.
If you are or have ever been a member of another surf club (in nippers or in lifesaving, such as a patrol member), you will also need to complete the transfer forms below so that Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club can have access to your details.
Current blue cards must be renewed every two years. If you have a current card please check the expiry date. Renewals can take a few weeks so if it is due in the next month or two please complete a renewal form. You will need to show identification at administration for this application.

One for each person who was/is a member of another lifesaving club and a Membership Transfer Declaration One for each person wanting to transfer to Noosa Heads SLSC.
Fees
Fees specifically for nippers for the 2011/2012 season are:
- First child - $ 65.00
- Subsquent child - $ 55.00
- Parent/guardian (Associate) - $ 70.00
- Nipper family (2 adults/3 children) $ 200.00
Fees for "Active" members are:
- Senior Active, Past Active, Active Reserve & Long Service - $ 65.00
- Junior Active & Active Cadet - $ 45.00
- Security Band -$ 15.00 (Refundable)
- Transfer fee - $22 (proficient bronze medallion holders, 18 years & over only)
Nipper uniforms can be purchased from the Nipper Merchandise Officers at nippers on Sundays.

For "Active" members only. If you participate in patrol activities at Noosa Heads SLSC you are able to use the club gymnasium (active members who are under 16 will require supervision by a club coach). Please complete this form and return it with your membership application.
